More than a meal

A seat inside Monpa heritage.

Dun Kitchen is a village dining experience in the old heart of Dirang—not a restaurant transplanted into a heritage setting, but a meal shaped by the home itself.

Wooden floors, low tables, stone walls and a traditional mud hearth hold the memory of everyday mountain life. Here, food is served as it should be: unhurried, seasonal and shared.

Our Dirang roots

Dirang Village West Kameng Arunachal Pradesh

Made in Dirang.
Shared with heart.

Dun Kitchen is shaped by Dirang—its mountain harvests, Monpa traditions and the generous way guests are welcomed into a home.

Local grains, seasonal vegetables, fermented flavours and butter tea come together around the hearth. Every meal is prepared slowly, shared generously and served with the stories of this place.

Stone walls, timber beams and stacked firewood outside the heritage village home
Dirang Village · Arunachal Pradesh
A kitchen built on memory

Stone. Timber. Fire. A living home.

The building is not a backdrop. It is part of every plate that leaves the hearth.

The old stone walls hold the mountain cold outside. Blackened pots, woven bamboo storage and the clay hearth tell how food has long been cooked here— with patience, observation and the knowledge of home.
